Welcome to the Virtual Race Fundraiser for the Oneonta Family YMCA, where your journey begins in a galaxy powered by movement, purpose, and community.
Set out from the YMCA on Ford Avenue and make your way to FoxCare Drive in whatever way feels right to you. Walk, run, cycle, dance, or stretch through yoga. Every mile you complete strengthens the force that connects and uplifts our community.
Along the way, expect moments of fun and excitement. Our sponsors and local business partners help bring this mission to life, and their generosity means you will have opportunities to win prizes throughout your journey.
The rewards are fit for a true Jedi. Take part in prize drawings, compete for top fundraiser honors, there is even special one hour pool reservation for the top elementary student fundraiser.
Your $35 entry opens the door to the full experience. Every participant has a chance to win, and every step you take supports a meaningful cause. This is neighbors showing up for neighbors and building something stronger together.
Miles for a Mission transforms movement into impact by supporting our mission: healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility!

We have some handy guidelines:
- Watch this video of Racery pro tips.
- Complete your bio.
- Update your passcode in settings.
- We try to keep the playing field level, and conversions are based on effort, ie 1 hour cycling = ~1 hour swimming = ~1 hour tennis. Please log cycling minutes, not miles.
- To delete a log, click its gear on the right.
- Don’t like one type of email? Unsubscribe at the bottom of that email. Although, keep in mind some discounts are unlocked, and emailed to you, as you pass by their location.
- If you post on social media, please tag @oneontaymca and @raceryapp
- We rely on the honor system. You don't have to use a device to prove your miles, a good map or watch suffices.
- Only log intentional exercise please. Also, only log each workout once. If you take a dance class, don't also count the steps from that class in your total for the day.
- Attribute your exercise to the appropriate day—don't combine workouts from multiple days.
- Only backdate logs for a race up to 3 days in the past.
- Activities submitted after the race ends will not count toward race leaderboards.
